Our Beliefs

Holy Scriptures

We believe that the sixty-six (66) books of the Holy Bible, as originally written, are the verbal, full, complete, inspired Word of God without error and the product of Spirit-controlled men. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Revelation 22:18-19)

God

We believe in the one triune God, existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, eternal in being, identical in nature, equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfection (Deuteronomy 6:14; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, is the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God. We believe that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, indwells all believers in the present age, baptizes them into the body of Christ, seals them unto the day of redemption and that it is the duty of every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1, Corinthians 12:12- 14; Ephesians 1:13-18; John 16:8-11; 2 Corinthians 3:6).

Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but when Adam sinned, the humanity fell and man inherited a sinful nature, became alienated from God, and is helplessly and hopelessly lost without a Savior.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God, brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was for the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19)

Eternal Security of Believers

We believe that all believers who have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ are kept secure forever (John 3:3-7, 10:27-30; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Romans 8:38-39; 1 John 5:13; Ephesians 4:30).

The Church

We believe that the Church, which is the body and bride of Christ, is a spiritual organism made up of all born-again persons. Each believer is endowed with a spiritual gift to be used within their local body of believers to build the church. (Ephesians 4:3-16; 1:22-23; 5:25-27; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

Church Ordinances

The Bible list two ordinances for the church, the Lord’s Supper and water baptism by immersion. The Lord’s Supper is to be celebrated as often as you choose in remembrance of Christ’s death on the cross, and in expectation of His return. Water baptism is an outward testimony of a person’s inner belief in Christ. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-,16; Acts 8:12,36-38; 9:18; 10:47; I Cor. 11:23-26)

The Responsibility of Believers

We believe that all believers should seek to walk in a manner as to not bring reproach upon.

The Responsibility of Believers

We believe that all believers should seek to walk in a manner as to not bring reproach upon their Lord and Savior and that separation from worldly pleasures and practices is commended by God (Romans 12:1-2; 14:13; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 7:1). It is the responsibility of every believer to witness by life, fill their inner person with the Holy Scriptures and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all the world (Acts 1:8;Matt 28:18-20); to also support the local church as the Lord has prospered them (1 Corinthians 16:2). The believers should distinguish themselves by the love they show one to another. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13; John 13:34-35).
